Peer Recovery Coaches and Community Health Workers will be exposed to new techniques for engaging people who are having difficulty making positive health lifestyle changes. Motivation to change models will be reviewed, including four keys to habit change. Participants will examine how to create and sustain wellness habits. The role of the environment, the concept of “nudge” and supporting research will be reviewed as well as strategies to foster positive health choices and behaviors.
